Sr. Accountant
Our successful client in Manchester, NH has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Staff Accountant.
Position reports to the Accounting Manager and will fulfill the following responsibilities:
* Accurately record financial transactions, including month-end closings
* Provide assistance with the administration and preparation of operating forecasts and periodic reports
* Maintain and improve an effective cost accounting system to ensure robust internal controls
* Prepare monthly account reconciliations in support of the financial statements
Qualified candidates must possess:
* BA degree in Accounting required
* Demonstrated Advanced MS Excel skills
* 3-5 years general ledger and cost accounting experience in a manufacturing industry strongly preferred
* Experience with a large ERP system such as Oracle or SAP desired.
