Project Manager III This position supports the IT systems controls, HealthConnect, SOD interfacing, access and termination reviews, and support of all megas. Current in-scope project reviews are in Common Plan, Accounting, Payroll, Material Management, Revenue Cycle, Capital Assets, Pharmacy, and Outside Costs. Testing of these controls would require knowledge of IT systems audits and identification of applications.
Job Description:
The Sarbanes-Oxley Project Manager III position in the regional and medical megas will provide leadership and direction in the implementation of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley in the SCAL region, and to business owners in strengthening and improving and identifying internal controls. Essential responsibilities include:
° Acts as key advocate in the region to ensure the establishment and maintenance of adequate internal controls on behalf of the CFO and Controller.
° Performs role of liaison, problem solver, and facilitator between Program Offices, Regional Office, Mega National Leadership Team (NLT) Sponsor, Mega Process Lead, and the SOX Coordinators in the area of internal controls.
° Assists in development of reporting and a multi-department project plan to implement and comply with automated monitoring of SOX, and provide periodic project reporting to the Director, and the Regional Controller.
° Provides general leadership and technical direction. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings.
° Acts as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator. Provides guidance to team on performance and productivity issues.
° Establishes procedures regarding implementation of project outcome.
° Assist in developing an internal controls and systems training program for different levels of management.
° Evaluates internal control assessment documentation and provide feedback to the business owner. Facilitates resolution of major internal control problems within the Region to ensure that issues are brought to closure.
° Accountable for development of project documentation for senior executives and other key clients to facilitate sharing of project outcomes and best practices. Plans and facilitates meetings.
° Develops and foster business partnerships with internal customers and other management personnel. (Coaching/Teaching skills)
° Perform other tasks assigned as necessary.

· Education Preferred: CPA, MBA, CIA, CISA
· Skills Required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Skills Preferred: Lotus Notes, Access, Risk Navigator, Visio
