We have publicly held clients in need of auditors who can assist their efforts to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements. Our clients require individuals who have experience in working with Risk Control Matrices (RCM) and have been involved in financial controls documentation, testing, and remediation execution. They should be comfortable in working with compliance teams, yet be able to function with minimal direction. Qualifications : As an ideal candidate for this Financial Controls Auditor role, the following is required: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Three or more years internal audit or Big-4 / regional public accounting experience • Masters degree in accounting or business administration is preferred, along with a CPA and / or CIA certification • Familiarity with COSO standards and usage of flow-charting software tools such as Visio • Must be willing to travel throughout the Upstate NY region If you are a qualified and experienced senior level professional with specialized experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls auditing & compliance.
