Service Line Specialist
The Service Line Specialist role is an exciting and unique opportunity based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will be the face of the Internal Audit Department (IAS) in the Ohio regional office and will interact daily with senior management. We are looking for a bright, energetic, independent person who enjoys the complexity of large scale operational and financial integrated audits that allow for growth opportunities. You will participate in national initiatives and will work on some high visibility projects, supported by IAS team members from across the country. Responsibilities* Participates in the planning, scheduling, and supervision of assigned audit projects* Leads the audit team in the delivery of high quality results in assigned projects* Reviews the work quality of audit staff* Provides innovative and creative ideas to formulate new or improved audit approaches, tools, and techniques* Assist in establishment of the OH annual audit plan* Ensures that work papers contain adequate evidence to support audit findings* Reviews work papers of audit team for accuracy and completeness* Provides management input on audit staff performance on assigned projects* Mentors audit staff* Administratively report to the Senior Internal Audit Manager, functionally report to individual engagement managers on a temporary, project basis* Ensure the consistency of audits throughout their designated service lines by defining the audits (scope and approach) within the service line specialty and performing risk assessments* Provide content and quality support relative to the service line to the audit managers in support of their planning and managerial roles* Integrate results from various teams performing audits within the service line* Examines results for trends, themes, and program-wide impact and reports as necessary* Act as the key liaison with senior management of service line areas, disseminating information to management and in the department, collaborating in problem resolution, and clarifying status* Conduct briefings and staff training as necessary* 25% - 35% travelJob Requirements * One of the following certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)* 12+ years of professional auditing or comparable experience with internal audits and project management* Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance or information systems or related field/equivalent experience (Masters degree is preferred)This position consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanentes Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to the applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanentes policies and procedures.To apply:For immediate consideration, please submit your resume online at www.kaiserpermanentejobs.org and create a personal profile.
