Senior Tax Manager – Research & Special Projects

AccountSource has partnered with an international publicly-traded manufacturer seeking a Senior Tax Manager. 


Reporting Directly to the Director of Tax job duties include:
Exploring and developing an implementation strategy for planning opportunitiesAnalyzing and handling issues that may arise either pursuant to an audit by foreign taxing jurisdictions or otherwiseOverseeing compliance obligations, transfer pricing, etc.Analyzing the impact on the company and its agencies of all significant pending and newly implemented legislation and court holdingsEstablishing and nurturing relationships with agency finance personnel at global headquarters, regional headquarters, and local affiliatesDeveloping and nurturing relationships with outside professional experts in order to ensure that the firm has access to world class advice in connection with any matters having tax consequencesAssisting as necessary in the implementation and planning phases of special projects such the legal entity simplification projectInteracting with all levels of management within this organization as well as the agenciesInteracting with all tax advisors and the company's auditors

Requirements


The ideal candidate will have:
8+ years related tax research/planning experience, international experience required. FIN 48 experience a must CPA  certification and Masters in Tax required. JD a plusStrong Excel, research and writing skills
