Senior Tax Accountant - Private Equity Sector - Up to 90K + 15%

Location: New York, NY 10001Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Our client, a global Fortune 50 firm and leading provider of accounting services to the private equity sector is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their Midtown, NYC office. The Tax Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing partnership tax accounting services for clients including preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns. Responsibilities: Prepare Federal and State tax returns and work papers for a variety of tax entities predominately partnership utilizing RIA Go System Tax including. Prepare foreign tax withholding tax forms. Prepare quarterly tax estimates. Prepare year-end projections. Monitor client deadlines and assignments and inform supervisor of pending target or statutory deadlines. Liaison with accounting associate to obtain necessary data to complete assigned work. Support tax directors and senior associates. Participate in tax research projects and utilize various tax research tools. Maintain tax basis of investments. Prepare complex tax returns and tax allocations. Prepare all aspects of federal/state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, Partnerships with focus on individual returns. Preparation of federal/state consolidated tax returns, federal/state single entity tax returns, tax projections & extensions. Client interaction. Interact with government agencies, client counsel and public accounting firms.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 4-6 years of related tax experience.
