Senior Tax Accountant/Analyst

An opportunity exists with a multi-billion dollar public company for tax analysts. There are two opportunities available. 1. Income Tax and Sarbanes Oxley 2. Tax Compliance AnalysisThe position involves the following: Preparation of consolidated federal and multi-state income tax provision Preparation of quarterly SEC disclosure requirements related to FAS 109  Preparation of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns Assists in implementation of FASB pronouncements.  Preparation of taxable income estimates Analysis of various tax related planning scenarios. Assists with miscellaneous special projects related to corporate initiatives. Requirements for this position include:Minimum one year tax experience working with large corporations  college degree in accounting  CPA candidate  Knowledge of FAS 109 and federal and state tax law. Big Four tax experience preferred. Must be able to work on several projects concurrently and to handle confidential information.  Must be effective in written and oral communication.  Must be organized and able to complete assignments in a timely manner.  Good PC skills required. Expertise in CORPTax, SAP, and Hyperion preferred. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with fellow employees and persons outside the company who are involved in tax matters.
