Job Description:
Working with the Controller and Finance staff, the Senior Accountant is responsible for:
- Compiling financial information to prepare journal entries accurately, completely and timely
- Performing monthly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Preparing financial spreadsheets and reconciliations as required. Propose changes as necessary.
- Tracking intercompany charges across the six hospital system
- Supporting Practice Directors with financial analysis
- Tracking CCPN practice location leases
- Assisting with the preparation of schedules and reports for interim and annual audits.
- Researching discrepancies via payroll and A/P.
- Collaborating with other Finance and Accounting staff on special projects
- Proposing and updating written procedures for the department
- Responding to inquiries and returns voicemail, e-mail in a timely, friendly and cooperative manner.
- Maintaining diplomatic working relationships with all personnel

Qualifications:
-BS/BA in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting
- 5-8 years of progressive work experience
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to write and present reports
- Strong written and oral skills
- Ability to interact with co-workers and the CCPN management team
