Senior Service Representative - Derivative Operations (Buffalo, NY)

Identify problems and issues related to trade settlements that result in cash breaks and identify root cause of issue. Proactively seek corrective action to ensure all future cash flows settle properly.  Ensure breaks are reviewed daily; identify and resolve within a reasonable timeframe. Ensure that generic causal of daily breaks are provided to supervisor for tracking and escalation to trading/trade capture management within team guidelines. Responsibilities include the handling of internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.  This includes exposure to the front and middle offices, control and audit functions as well as various Operations departments and teams. Maintain static data as well as market data. Monitor settlement advices to customers Provide excellent customer serviceKey Learnings   Overall understanding of Settlements/Reconciliation process Product Knowledge Develop leadership ability, analytical and problem solving skills Gain client service skills Candidate must be extremely well organized, have excellent communication and writing skills as well as be proficient in Excel, database functions and technology.
