Senior Manager, Tax- Real Estate

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join us in our Boston office as part of our Real Estate Practice. KPMG's Real Estate Practice provides tax and advisory services to real estate, finance, construction and hospitality clients. Our practice includes a wide range of client types, including owners, developers, managers and tenants of office, retail and residential properties, real estate opportunity funds, real estate investment trusts, lenders, foreign investors and construction companies. Responsibilities: * Manage and provide leadership to a team of professionals in delivering high quality tax services and advice to real estate, partnership and other clients * Build and manage client relationships * Manage the risk and financial performance of an engagement, including billing, collections, and budgets for projects * Assess the tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments to support conclusions, and suggest recommendations to clients Qualifications: * Seven years of tax experience supporting real estate funds and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) or the investment partnership industry such as private equity or hedge funds * Exceptional skills in organizing technical and non-technical aspects of engagements and supervising and working with team members * Prior experience as a Tax Manager in a public accounting firm * Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent * Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university, MST or law degree KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
