Senior Manager - IT Security

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our IT Advisory Practice in the New York office. IT Advisory Services (ITA) professionals assess, design, and combine leading information management and operational processes, approaches, technologies, and controls to help enable sustained business value and risk management in support of the business. Information Technology (IT) organizations and their leaders often need a business focus that helps enable them to better organize and prioritize their IT investments based on factors including business value created, return on investments, and management of risk. Responsibilities: * Participate in and, lead business and market development efforts including proposals * Enhance relationships within other service lines at KPMG * Develop a risk analysis to review the existing IT infrastructure, business processes, policies, and legal issues to assess the readiness of the organization to implement new IT technology * Review and map IT Protection business processes and controls, working to identify control gaps and associated recommendations * Assist with client needs assessments related to IT security, privacy, and continuity services * Design authentication and authorization architectures Qualifications: * Ten years of experience in developing, implementing, or architecting information systems * Technical architecture experience merging identity and access management software * Extensive experience in Information Security in one or more of the following areas: security assessments, penetration testing, security governance, security controls analysis, identity management, access management, and network architecture and design * Experience with software and tools from leading security vendors * Able to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations * Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior level IT executives * Accomplished executive business development track record and demonstrated leadership capabilities * Able and willing to travel * CISA, CIA, CISSP or other applicable certification a plus * Prior experience with a Big Four firm * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or Information Systems KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
