Senior Manager Financial and Operational Accounting

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the financial and operational accounting operations of Hilti and ensures compliance with the Corporate Finance Manual as well as external accounting standards. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:   Ensures that accounting records are kept in accordance with internal and external financial accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).   Responsible for the leadership, motivation, and professional development of the accounting team.   Ensures that a proper control environment exists to enable financial reporting accuracy.   Executes and coordinates the month and year-end close activities.   Drives evolution and process improvement for efficiency gains.   Able to identify problems with transactional accounting activities such as month-end close and work with both direct reports and cross-functional teams to implement improvements.   Knowledgeable and up-to-date on professional internal and external accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) Job Requirements: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize a team’s task’s and activities Ability to manage and develop a team Ability to adapt to and drive organization evolution Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills Drive to meet or exceed deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal with peers, direct reports, and management.
