Senior Manager

Position Summary:Looking for a highly experienced audit professional with broad management, business development and customer relations skills. Position Responsibilities:  Function as Partner’s “go-toâ€� manager for delivery on multiple engagements. Assist in the business development process for their territory Will have direct authority for managing and developing staff members Must have significant internal audit experience Experience in performing risk assessments, developing audit plans, performing financial and operational audits and reporting results to audit committee Must have significant Internal Audit/SOX experience Experience in scoping, developing documentation, determining key risks, testing and assisting with management final assessment Must have large-scale project management experience Ability to deal with challenging client situations Willing to travel extensively on a regular basis Other duties as assigned Essential Skills and Experience: BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field Experience in Business Development/Sales Consulting experience Prior Big 4 experience preferred CPA, CIA, or CISA or other audit certification preferred Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to interact with various levels of client and company management Willingness to travel 70% on an annual basis, domestic and international Strong orientation toward internal control, risk assessment and operational auditing Line operations experience and a demonstrated, innovative approach to internal audit as a consultative service is a distinct plus Ability to work with all levels of management Nonessential Skills and Experience: MBA or other related advanced degree Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint; ACL & MS Access a plus If interested, please email your resume as a WORD attachment to JamesMoran@mergisgroup.com with SR.
