Senior International Tax Specialist

This position is responsible for helping oversee the company’s tax compliance as well as special projects that occur during the year. 

 

Gather and analyze financial information needed:For completion of Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865 For completion of US income tax return (sec. 987 calculation, intercompany schedules to tie with US transfer pricing report, Subpart F calculations, Sec 99 mfg credit, ETI overall foreign loss) For transfer pricing reports both in US and abroad

Monitor international compliance of Dresser non-US entities and coordination with outside advisors

 

Assist with implementation of tax strategies

 

Help in resolution of tax audits

 

Assist with preparation of tax provision

 

Assist in the refinement and documentation of tax processes in compliance with SOX requirements

 

Identify opportunities to improve current process

 

Requirements:

At least 4-5 years experience in a corporate tax environment, with at least 2 years in international tax

 

CPA or equivalent

 

Competent with Excel, Access and Word

 

Excellent communication skills

 

Understanding of FAS 109

 

Preferred:

Knowledge of TaxStream and Oracle/HFM
