Serving multiple industries, Parker & Lynch provides the knowledge, expertise and responsiveness necessary to build and maintain enduring relationships with our clients and candidates.  Senior Internal Control Auditor- Cypress, California Job Scope Overall management (Project Leader) of the annual assessment and reporting of internal controls over financial reporting Coordinate internal control activities Maintain project schedules and ensure completion of activities Communicate and interact with senior management to ensure that appropriate controls are in place and operating effectively Prepare documentation and materials to substantiate management’s assessment of internal controls Perform risk assessment analysis Perform updated scoping of accounts and disclosures, entity level controls, and IT controls Plan and coordinate testing of controls Plan and coordinate remediation of design or control deficiencies, if needed Work with senior management, IT, and business process owners to identify and implement internal control improvement opportunities Maintain and update documentation including, but not limited to: scoping, narratives, flowcharts, and testingRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent Minimum of five years of accounting and internal controls experience Previous Sarbanes-Oxley experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and auditing CPA or CIA preferred but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and analytical skillsFor prompt and confidential consideration, please e-mail all resumes to joseph.aguilar@parkerlynch.com .
