Senior General Accountant Due to our exceptional growth we are seeking a Senior General Accountant for our Plymouth, MN office.      Job Profile: The Senior General Accountant will report to the Controller and will support various areas of accounting.  Responsibilities Include:  Timely preparation and posting of monthly manual journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Review of system generated journal entries for accuracy, including preparation of adjusting entries as appropriate Review of preliminary financial statements for accuracy and preparation of adjusting entries as appropriate Reconciliation of inter-company accounts, including preparation and posting of elimination entries in consolidation Preparation of monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts Preparation of work papers and support of external auditors during annual audit Support external tax accountants data requests necessary for preparation of corporate tax returns Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting Major or Business with Accounting Minor 5+ years solid accounting experience, preferably with a decentralized company Experience working for a publicly-held company or public accounting firm desirable  Proven skills multi-tasking CPA designation a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and ambiguous environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and ERP software, Great Plains experience a plus!
