Senior Corporate Accountant
Our client, a publicly traded, well-established company is searching for professionals for their SEC Reporting team. Responsibilities:Preparation and filing of SEC financial filings (10-Qs, 10-K, 8-K, etc.), including drafting of financial statements, related footnotes and MD&A. Accountable for the timely and accurate filing of the documents. Assist in providing technical accounting support to senior management, including evaluating accounting and financial implications of complex business transactions. Assume an active role in various special projects, including researching issues, coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams, and presenting recommendations to senior management. Research and coordinate the implementation of all new accounting standards, including assessing the impacts to the global organization and ensuring an accurate transition during implementation. Responsible for establishing/maintaining Accounting Policies for a rapidly growing organization. Assist in coordinating the quarterly and year-end reviews/audits with external auditors. Analysis of monthly and quarterly balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statements to ensure financial data is accurate and relevant in regard to external filings.
