We've grown significantly over the past decade to over $45 billion in assets under management (As of December 31, 2007) and are now searching for highly talented individuals to join our team.

 

The Senior Brand Manager supports the firm's efforts around building consumer insights and using them to drive marketing activities expected to contribute significantly to growth. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position that offers a wide range of opportunities, from the creation of online advertising to the development and analysis of radio, television and print campaigns. You will be developing marketing campaigns for completely new product areas, leading all stages of the process - from product positioning to creative development and execution. The size and scope of Fisher Investments' marketing efforts are growing, and include both direct response and mass marketing approaches. You will be an integral member of a strong team of marketers that is evolving the role of creative development and branding at the firm.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Marketing Program Development
• Develop positioning and direct-response oriented marketing plans for new products/businesses, leveraging consumer insights.
• Support the development of a wide variety of advertising creative content, likely including print, radio, television and online advertising.
• Evaluate marketing creative to ensure alignment with overall Fisher Investments brand and creative strategy.
• Ensure continuous improvement in our marketing efforts by testing new creative and generating hypotheses about what is/isn't working.
• Work with cross-functional peers to ensure appropriate compliance and administrative aspects of marketing efforts are managed.

 

Agency Management
• Help manage the agency relations necessary to develop strong creative and flawless in-market execution.
• Manage agency budgets and timelines.

 

Marketing Capabilities Development
• Develop and share a POV on key marketing questions, which may include:

o Recommendations on new marketing vehicles to test
o Identifying new and better creative agencies
o Developing new ways of testing marketing programs
o Recommending ways to better leverage our consumer learning in our

marketing efforts

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Minimum of 6+ years brand marketing experience, direct marketing experience preferred but not required
• Experience managing direct reports
• Experience working with advertising agencies
• Experience developing, fielding and testing marketing programs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A track record of success (i.e. promotion and increased business responsibility)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
