Senior Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant

We are looking for a full time Senior Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Boston. This is a small fast paced office where everyone helps each other.



JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the accounting processes of the company, to include but not limited to the month-end close process, bank account reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and additional projects as assigned.



Position Responsibilities:

* Prepare timely bank account reconciliations.

* Reconcile multiple credit card merchant accounts.

* Review and reconcile various balance sheet accounts

* Accounts payable processing and check writing

* Assist in projects and/or various administrative tasks as requested.



Essential Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and meet tight deadlines.

* Attention to detail and resourcefulness is a must in this faced paced environment. Strong knowledge and extensive use of Excel and QuickBooks is necessary.

* Ability to import/export from QB is desirable.
