Senior Auditor - Rochester, NY Eastman Kodak, one of the premier information imaging companies in the world, currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Auditor to work in our Global Audit Department. You will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of Kodak's worldwide entities, subsidiaries, and joint ventures. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects to review, analyze, and evaluate corporate processes and procedures, to ensure that adequate internal controls exist and recommend appropriate changes. This position has significant visibility and interaction with operations and finance management. You will be expected to add value for our stakeholders by providing recommendations to improve operations including capturing and promoting best practices. General responsibilities include - Planning, assigning and supervising the daily activity and work of other auditors - Developing and maintaining productive client and staff relationships - Developing risk-based work plans and project approaches - Performing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls reviews in a fast-paced environment - Reviewing and evaluating internal controls against best-in-class standards - Consulting with clients and performing continuous monitoring activities - Preparing and reviewing audit planning documents, audit procedures, and final reports for approval by an audit supervisor and/or manager - Interacting with clients for the purpose of analyzing problems, developing alternatives, building consensus, and supporting implementation of solutions - Using project management tools to oversee project progress - Engaging in special projects on an as-needed basis - Mentoring, teaching, training and coaching staff Position Location: - Rochester, New York Travel Requirements: - 25-35% international and domestic travel required Education Requirements: - Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance or equivalent degree outside the US Experience Requirements: - 4 to 6 years of demonstrated proficiency in performing financial, operational and compliance audit work, which conforms to professional standards - Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm is desirable - Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CIA is preferred - Strong/broad understanding of current accounting (U.S. GAAP) and auditing (GAAS) principles - Strong/broad understanding of internal control concepts (COSO) - Knowledge of ACL or other analytical tools to extract, analyze and manipulate data is desirable - Demonstrated critical thinking and strong analytical ability - Strong communication/interpersonal skills - Pro-active, high energy and strong work ethic - Must possess tenacity to pursue difficult and sensitive issues to an acceptable conclusion - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an independent manner - Demonstrated supervisory and project management skills desired
