Our client company is seeking a Senior Auditor to work in the Jacksonville office. This person will be able to: Coordinates or conducts operational, financial, forensic and compliance audits as assigned by Internal Audit management with a high degree of professional competence and technical expertise: Determines and/or recommends the scope and objectives of assigned audits utilizing the technical tools/techniques that are most appropriate and productive; Manages multiple operational, financial, forensic and compliance audit projects and staff assigned to the project to achieve the scope, timing, and objectives of each assignment; Identifies opportunities and presents effective oral or written communications to make recommendations for improving internal control & operational effectiveness and efficiency; Guides the preparation of work paper documentation to ensure quality of such documentation in accordance with professional standards; Utilizes an understanding of LPS business activities in performing audit procedures; Participates in IA departmental improvement projects to automate procedures, methods, and standards to improve departmental efficiency, productivity and quality; Gains management concurrence and support for recommended control improvements; and Promotes teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related program; Strong oral and written skills; 4+ years of audit experience (Public Accounting experience preferred); Ability to maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Good analytical ability (qualitative and quantitative) to draw sound conclusions; Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook required. Proficiency in ACL & Visio preferred; Proficiency with generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards; Understanding of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements; Demonstrated knowledge and proper application of sampling techniquesTravel ranges from 20-50%.
