Senior Associate – IT Infrastructure Auditor Summary
Our client, a pioneer in the financial services industry, seeks a highly qualified Senior Associate / IT Infrastructure Auditor to continue driving our client’s tradition of innovation and excellence.

The right candidate will be an experienced Senior Auditor or a lightly experienced Audit Manager who wants to transition from the road warrior Auditor lifestyle. He or she will have Big 4 experience and accounting policy work experience.
Compensation for this position pays up to a $95,000 base, and includes an annual bonus with a target of 10%.


Senior Associate – IT Infrastructure Auditor Function
The Senior Associate / IT Infrastructure Auditor will plan and perform information system audits and special reviews for company brands.

As the role of Information Technology (IT) becomes more critical to supporting and advancing the regulatory, governance and business objectives of organizations, our client’s Internal Audit Department provides assistance to their clients by conducting control reviews that address management's objectives, ranging from processes to application and technology infrastructure design.


Detailed Senior Associate – IT Infrastructure Auditor ResponsibilitiesLead planning, testing, and reporting phases of assigned IT audits. Manage audit deliverables in accordance with pre-determined due dates. Analyze the IT environment to evaluate application and infrastructure risks and controls. Develop and execute tests to identify control weaknesses, document inefficiencies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business operations. Present findings to client management and negotiate suggested action plans. Build and maintain strong client relationships by exceeding expectations and demonstrating detailed knowledge of the client's business environment. Foster a positive work environment by soliciting feedback from teammates and developing the skills of staff auditors. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and IT developments. Participate in special projects or other duties as assigned.

 


Essential Senior Associate – IT Infrastructure Auditor Skills & Characteristics

RequiredBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration or an alternative technology-related field 3 years’ minimum work experience in IT audit, internal audit, or consulting experience Knowledge of business risks related to general system controls, systems development, change management, logical access security, local area Network (LAN) concepts, contingency and recovery Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills required Must be willing and able to travel up to 5%-10%

PreferredWorking knowledge of Mainframe, Unix and Windows environments. Knowledge of RACF, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) COSO, and COBit Experience using audit software tools and security scripts. CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certification (e.g. CIA, CPA) preferred. Audit experience from Fortune 500 Financial Services Corporations (e.g. credit card and/or banking) and/or Public Accounting, a plus
