Senior Associate, CFO Advisory

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join us in our New York City office. CFO Advisory (CFOA) Services professionals are "trusted advisers" for the CFO and other financial executives of major organizations. We help focus on financial and accounting processes, analysis, operations, controls and performance, budgeting and forecasting, financial closing, financial and management reporting and shared service. Our professionals bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient processes with the finance function. Responsibilities: -Provide day-to-day management and execution of engagements -Work under the direction of a Manager, Senior Manager or Director in the execution of engagements -Serve a variety of clients within multiple industries delivering high quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations. Qualifications: -MBA from an accredited college/university and/or CPA license -Five years of experience in accounting and finance in a corporate environment or three years of experience in a public accounting or other professional services firm -Strong understanding of business processes including monthly close-consolidation-and-reporting cycle, planning, budgeting and forecasting, order to cash, as well as process analysis and design skills -Experience with special projects involving business process improvement or the selection and implementation of shared services, outsourcing, ERP or BPM systems -Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and teammates -Self-starter personality that can work well with others -Willingness and ability to travel -Broad industry understanding of the markets you have you have served.
