Senior Analyst/Budgets & Operations Support

Telsource Corporation, the nation’s leading Independent Service Provider of voice and data communications field services seeks an experienced Senior Budget Analyst to work in our Strongsville, Ohio Operations Center.

 

As an integral member of our Finance Group you will perform company-wide budget planning and analysis instrumental in assessing resource management and forecasting corporate growth.

 

The Analyst will spend the majority of his/her time dedicated to producing annual budgets and periodic forecasts for vertical business units within the Company.  In addition monthly variance reports will be generated to monitor plans versus actual results. The analyst will be required to work with functional managers to analyze needs assessments and organizational objectives.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

· Coordinate the activities of personnel responsible for formulation and presentation of budgets for controlling funds to implement program objectives.

· Track past, current, and future expenditures at various levels and perform budget analysis on results.

· Correlate budget and expenditures for future analysis and reporting

· Analyze trends affecting budget needs.

· Develop detailed estimates in narrative form for justification.

· Provide direction in support of cost management initiatives.

· Supervision of local Accounts Receivable Specialist.

 

 

Requirements:

·  BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

·  In-depth knowledge of GAAP, modeling budgets and forecasts

·  Minimum 3 years business experience.

·  Expert facility using computer applications and spreadsheets, graphic packages such as MS Office and FRx Report writer and Epicor.

·  Ability to prioritize and balance multiple concurrent initiatives.

·  Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

· Expertise with decision support  analytic methods, techniques, and procedures related to financial

management.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

· Display an aggressive yet professional attitude and a reverence for punctuality.
