Location: San Francisco, NYYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Send this Job to a Friend Our client, an industry leader in providing outsourced accounting services to private equity and hedge fund clients is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their San Francisco. This company grows by nearly 30% each year and allows for a ton of upward mobility. Responsibilities: Deliverables Management: Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers. Preparation and review of financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements. Prepare and review limited partner and general partner allocations. Prepare and review capital call and distributions to limited partners. Prepare and review trial balances and work paper product. Interact with Senior Management. Interact with client. Staff Management: Coordinate with Director on deliverable planning. Supervise work of junior staff to meet client timing and quality requirements. Review all work product prepared by junior staff. Provide on-the-job coaching and training to junior staff. Coordinate with Operations Group and Tax Group. Client Engagement Management: Provide prompt and professional communications. Prepare appropriate material for client meetings / requests. Coordinate, support and facilitate external audits process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 4-6 years experience in accounting (preferably in public accounting and/or experience in the financial services sector). Experience in preparing and reviewing general ledgers, financial statements, footnotes and working papers. Supervisory experience of other professionals. Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task. Strong written and oral communication skills. Advanced computer skills.
