Senior Accounting Manager

Serving multiple industries, Parker & Lynch provides the knowledge, expertise and responsiveness necessary to build and maintain enduring relationships with our clients and candidates.    Challenging Senior Accounting Manager position with diverse range of responsibilities and good work/life balance!Responsibilities: - Manage monthly close activities, internal/external financial reporting and analysis for various business operations and acquisitions - Analyze and research financial data to ensure appropriate treatment and compliance with GAAP - Providing strategic guidance and input to Executive management regarding finance/accounting issues - Perform financial analysis for special projects and due diligence in support of potential acquisitions - Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for existing and newly acquired operations - Oversee accounting for AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Leases - Analyze and review contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition for various business segmentsQualifications: - CPA preferred - 5+ years of relevant experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Significant technical (GAAP/SEC) experience - Strong analytical and communication skills - Public accounting experience preferred Company: Parker and Lynch Status: Full Time, Employee Location: Nashville, TN Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
