Senior Accounting Associate

Very well respected and growing Dallas-based consulting firm is searching for a Senior Accounting Associate to join their team.  This person will provide accounting support and oversight to assigned clients throughout the U.S. (with very little, if any travel).

Responsibilities include:
• Daily responsibility for the accounting, business office and financial reporting functions for assigned clients.
• Implementing and verifying internal controls and business office processes
• Reviewing month-end financial reports for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate and complete the annual budget process on a timely basis
• Performing the budget modeling for the initial and subsequent drafts of the operations budget
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement of overall operations for assigned clients

Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferably from a highly regarded university
• Master's Degree a plus
• Minimum two to four years experience in industry or public accounting
• CPA license preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and overall strong computer literacy
• Strong accounting, accounting system and internal control knowledge
