Senior Accountant -Grants
Responsibilities:Coordinate administration of general accounting tasksPrepare program budgets/modifications in collaboration with Controller in a timely mannerTrack and report individual program expenditures and incomeForecast budget variances bases on analysis of spendingProvide routine budget reports to Controller and executive staffEnsure timely preparation and submission of monthly vouchers and expenditure justificationsPreparation of materials and records for program auditsMonthly adjustment to General LedgerAnalysis of Trial BalancePrepare year-end working papers for AuditorsAssist Controller in preparation of complete budget for the AgencyAssist Controller on specific projects as assigned
Qualifications:BS in AccountingFive years experience in non-profit accountingAbility to be flexible and to adjust works schedule to reflect varying accounting deadlinesKnowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Salary: Low 50’s to Low 60’s; Excellent Benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week
