Position Summary:

 

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant involve supporting the general ledger close process.  The activities include but are not limited to account reconciliations, account analysis, JE preparation and preparation of the preliminary financial statements. 

 

Major Responsibilities:

 Daily Cash balance reporting

 Support the GL, General Ledger

 Initiate wire transfers

 Account reconciliations

 Fixed Asset Management

 General support of the GL close process to include JE preparation, account reconciliations and analysis

 Preparation of preliminary financial statements

 SAP Financial System administration

 Perform tasks within the internal control structure developed for SOX 404 compliance

 

Ideal Experience:

 BA/BS in Accounting.  CPA or CIA designation.  Minimum of 5 years accounting related experience.  Detail oriented with excellent communications, interpersonal and oral/written presentation skills.  Intermediate/Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Explorer and a major accounting software system (SAP a plus).
