Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  JC-30133-521906 Location:  NJ 07097 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for the general ledger, and the production of resultant financial statements, analysis, and reports, for a leading reinsurance intermediary. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure recording of financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Prepare, review, and post recurring and ad-hoc journal entries to the general ledger (e.g. revenue, compensation, accruals). Analyze financial data from various system interfaces to the general ledger. Prepare and ensure accuracy of financial reports and statements (e.g. monthly income statements, quarterly balance sheet and support schedules).Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet and profit & loss accounts utilizing the general ledger, subsystems, and financial statements. Review global financial data sent by local country finance managers and prepare for consolidation.  Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. Provide accounting advice and guidance to other departments and outsourced accountants.  Support internal and external auditors in their accounting inquiries. Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned.  EDUCATION:  Bachelor Degree in accounting .  CPA or equivalent, or working toward a CPA or equivalent preferred.
