POSITIONS START MONDAY, OCTOBER 20TH

 

JOB CONTENT AND SCOPE:

Responds to basic and complex inquiries of a technical nature through inbound phone lines. Typically supports IT hardware and software products. Handles problem resolution that may require follow-up and/or escalation to a higher level of expertise. Support is primarily related to external clients. May assist/advise internal clients. Requires limited knowledge of company, products, and/or services. May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff. May attend on-going training sessions to achieve higher level of technical skill. This position is specific to IT technical support.

 

KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required (2+ years of college preferred)One plus years of customer service experience working in a call center environment2 years or more technical PC experience supporting applications in a DOS, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows 2003 Server and Novell environments preferred (Mapping Drives, Permissions, Communications)Knowledge of communications including modems and Internet connectivity requiredKnowledge of printer configurations required  Basic knowledge of firewallanti-virus configurations and CitrixTerm Server environmentsBasic understanding of small business concepts and processes General knowledge of company, products, and/or services a plus
