Sales Tax Consultant

Texas Audit LP is a State and Local Tax Consulting firm located in McKinney, Texas.  Our business is growing very quickly and we are currently hiring for the position of Sales Tax Consultant. 

 

Consultants are responsible for managing and conducting sales and use tax overpayment reviews, pre-audit consulting, audit defense, managed audits, research and planning, and providing other sales and use tax services to our clients.  The position requires 25% to 40% travel (including some overnight) usually within the State of Texas. 

 

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, an advanced knowledge of Excel, excellent business writing ability and strong analytical skills. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting (CPA preferred), one to four years experience in sales and use tax within corporate, consulting and/or government industries.
