SVP Deputy Head of Accounting: Investment Bank

 

Senior leadership position within a global investment bank.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Accountable for all inter-company reconciliation and reporting across approx 100 entities and subsidiaries

· Domestic reporting including day to day controllership and external audits

· Supervision of Production teams including ALCO management, Regulatory Reporting, Legal Entity control, and consolidations

· Review of Federal Reserve reports, processes and maintenance as well as liaise with Federal and State examiners.

· Oversight over the entire close process to ensure all ledgers are closed and reported in a timely manner

· Monitor the branch systems from an accounting perspective to compile, review and implement accounting schemes

· Serve as a primary liaison between with Parent for corporate accounting and consolidation.

· Sponsor multiple tactical and strategic projects

 

Requirements:

 

· CPA with 15+ years relevant experience within a top tier firm

· Excellent knowledge of GAAP and IFRS

· Strong leadership ability and previous experience managing large global teams

· Good communication and analytical skills.  Ability to interact with internal and external senior management including Auditors, Regulators, CFO’s CEO’s

· Prior international experience a plus
