SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER (JM)

Our Client, an International Consumer Products Fortune 500 Company, has an opportunity in their Corporate Accounting Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Manages the planning and direction of accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements.

·  Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

·  Provides guidance and leadership to staff accountants. Participates in departmental projects.

·  Manage all aspects of the general ledger.

·  Manage the accumulation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting results.

·  Examine financial statements for completeness, internal accuracy and conformance with uniform accounting regulations, classifications or other specific accounting requirements.

·  Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.

·  Analyze business performance and recommend actions that may be taken when data discloses unfavorable trends, situations or deviations.

·  From Balance sheet and P&L analysis - recommend actions to Sales, Marketing, and Sales Presidents that may be taken when data discloses unfavorable trends, situations or deviations.
