This week’s highlighted job: Senior Accountant Profitable, successful and large publicly held corporation in the Boston area is hiring a talented Senior Accountant.  This highly technical accounting position will have growth potential and lots of visibility through interacting extensively with senior management, CFO, financial management and divisional management.  **Researches and develops policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and FASB. **Investigate various technical pronouncements and bulletins. **Present proposed policies and procedures to senior management. **Review due diligence for any acquisitions for compliance and issue identification. **Ad hoc financial analysis.  Requirements: **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area required. **CPA preferred. Knowledge of FASB, GAAP required.  **Minimum of 2 years experience in a large public accounting firm. **Exposure to SEC clients, 10K, 10Q is a plus.
