SEC Reporting Manager

There is significant growth potential in this position and extensive exposure across business lines. This is a multi-faceted role and will provide an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual. General Summary: This position is responsible for the preparation of the company’s SEC filings including forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, annual proxy and registration statements. The position will also manage the accounting oversight and support for assigned business units, support SOX compliance efforts, provide merger and acquisition support, and perform technical accounting research. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manager-Financial Reporting • Prepare SEC filings including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, annual proxy and registration statements • Coordinate disclosure committee meetings and support preparation of audit committee materials • Provide support for M&A activities including integration support • Manage and support month end closing processes for assigned business units • Prepare various monthly financial analyses as needed • Provide support as needed for external audit process for quarterly reviews and annual audit including statutory audits for certain legal entities • Perform technical accounting research including GAAP, IFRS and SEC • Provide support for other functional areas as needed (planning, tax, treasury, legal, operations) • Perform special projects as assigned Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters Degree preferred. CPA required • 8+ years of public/private experience in all areas of financial accounting • Strong leadership and organizational abilities • Supervisory experience required • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements • Advanced computer skills including experience with MS Excel and Microsoft Office products • Experience with ERP/accounting systems software.
