SEC Accountant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Key role in drafting and reviewing certain Forms (I,e 10-K, 10-Q) for compliance with SEC financial reporting requirements.
• Responsible for ongoing technical accounting research and resolution of technical accounting issues (revenue recognition, purchase accounting, option accounting, consolidations, etc) as well as keeping up to date with recent accounting pronouncements.
• Oversee consolidation process of all entities within the internal reporting system as well as reviewing translation adjustments, intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining legal entity accounting (i.e. set up i/c transactions, report structure, etc)
• Work with the GL team to ensure complex accounting treatment is adhered to and included within monthly financial results.
• Assist with improving the procedures performed surrounding the month end close process to gain efficiencies throughout the process.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCES:
• BS/BA in Accounting required
• CPA required
• Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience, experience in one of the “Big 4” public accounting firms preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have strong MS Office knowledge. Great Plains eEnterprise experience preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: CPA
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No.
OTHER: Excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
