SBA Loan Administrator

 

Position Summary

Obtaining, organizing, preparing and analyzing complex commercial loan documentation in accordance with Bank and SBA guidelines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

1. Obtaining, organizing, preparing and analyzing complex commercial loan documentation in accordance with Bank and SBA guidelines.

2. Providing routine clerical and administrative support to loan officers and managers.

3. Prepares and maintains loan files

4. Orders loan documentation and credit reports for various types of loans (e.g., lines of credit, term, construction, bridge and letters of credit).

5. Assists loan officers to obtain information relevant to loan applications, including compilation of borrower’s supporting documents, internal research, and initial preparation of credit approval documentation.

6. Interfaces with existing customers, prospects and outside agencies such as appraisers, title

companies, to obtain and provide information relative to loans in progress.

7. Follows up regarding status of insurance and recordings of deeds and UCC filings to ensure these are effective in accordance with schedules and agreements.

8. Coordinates files and information for periodic internal audits and reviews.

9. Reviews completed documentation for accuracy and completeness; requests corrections as necessary.

10. Gathers data to assist with preparation of production reports; distributes as required.

11. Reviews vendor invoices for accuracy and allocates appropriately for manager’s signature.
