We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join us in our New York office. Responsibilities: * Identify, document, and recommend client business requirements for implementing sales and use tax compliance processes and system improvements * Responsible for including recommended plans within a company's financial system and business processes * Possess a broad industry background including: retail, financial services, manufacturing and telecommunications Qualifications * Ability to travel 40 - 50 percent of the time, depending on the location and length of an engagement * Six years of State and Local Tax (SALT) experience including hands-on experience in the various sales and use tax software such as Sabrix, Vertex, TaxWare, CCH, FastTax and/ or RIA/ InSource * Certified as a sales and use tax implementation professional from various vendors including a PMI designation and/or ERP experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, JD Edwards, Baan or Great Plains specifically the AP/PO, A/R or G/L modules * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or work equivalent KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
