SALT - Tax Senior

Our client, a large public company, is seeking a state and local tax senior that reports to the Director or TaxJob Duties· Preparation and review of state income/franchise tax return filings· Identification, research and implementation of state tax planning opportunities· Manage the preparation of the sales and use tax returns· Mange the state tax examinations· Work with external service providers on special projectsQualifications Minimum two years tax related experience Bachelor’s degree CPA preferred Knowledge of state tax law  Big Four tax experience preferred  Ability to perform tax research and analyze state income and franchise tax issues Expertise in CORPTax, CORPCalendar, RIA, SAP, and Hyperion preferred Ability to work effectively with fellow employees and persons outside the company who are involved in tax matters  Must possess good analytical skills
