Revenue Planning Analyst

We are headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota with locations in Nebraska, New Mexico, Texas and Illinois.The Revenue Planning Analyst is responsible for the analysis, modeling and reporting for all Prime commercial revenue categories including manufacturer related fees, clinical program fees, and claims processing charges. This involves working with the various internal Prime Departments to understand the revenue drivers and develop and maintain working models to forecast the related revenues. This position will also be responsible for the creation and development of financial models composed of numerous spreadsheets utilizing data and inputs from across the organization. The position will also be responsible for preparing and communicating the detailed variance analysis to the impacted groups. This position will also participate in other corporate initiatives as needed. Accountabilities1. Responsible for the development, financial modeling, analysis and reporting for all Prime commercial revenue categories including manufacturer related fees, clinical program fees, and claims processing charges.2. Develop trending, analysis and reporting of company membership counts.3. Develop the analysis, modeling and reporting of all Prime Claims categories including e claims, paid, mail and extended supply.4. Serves as the liaison with Accounting on topics regarding revenue, claims and membership. Responsible for development and communication of monthly accruals to Accounting for all commercial revenue sources, including detailed variance analysis and reporting. 5. Serves as the liaison with various business units, including Pharmaceutical Trade Relations, Pricing and Analytics, Finance, Clincial, Account Management, etc on topics relating to revenue drivers and planning. 6. Performs other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.Job Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.2. 3+ years of experience in accounting, budgeting, finance and planning. 3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail a must.4. Experience and knowledge in creating and implementing financial models and forecasting techniques.5. Work experience in the pharmacy benefits management, benefits consulting, medical, or financial services field preferred.6. Proficient in Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Word. Proficiency in other related software a plus..7.
