With primary operations in the Permian, Black Warrior and Michigan Basins, the company boasts nearly 2.5Tcfe of proven reserves making it one of the 20 largest holders of domestic natural gas and is committed to continued economic growth. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of a New York-based Corporation and is headquartered in Houston, Texas with operating offices in Oklahoma City, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Traverse City, Michigan and Sonora, Texas. Supervisor Accounting (Revenue) The Supervisor Accounting is responsible for supervising Houston's revenue accounting department. Houston is currently responsible for the accounting functions for company's properties in Alabama, Mississippi and Michigan. Additionally, the Supervisor Accounting is responsible for: Severance taxes, royalty relations issues and MMS filings. The Supervisor Accounting will supervise a group 5 accounting professionals. RequirementsTo be considered the qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; however a CPA and/or MBA is desired along with a minimum of 10 years oil and gas revenue accounting and/or public accounting experience. Additionally, the selected individual must be a team player, have top-notch people skills, and possess an excellent understanding of oil and gas revenue accounting.
