Regional Controller

Successful Company in the Real Estate Development and Property Management industry is seeking a hands-on Regional Controller to handle the day-to-day accounting functions.  This position will directly report to the VP of Financial Services and the Senior VP, and will provide accounting services and support to the regions. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages Supervise the review of the general ledger monthly and quarterly to ensure proper GAAP recording of income, expense and balance sheet itemsAct as accounting liaison to regions, providing assistance and support as neededPrepare periodic forecasts for each city and region and coordinate and review the annual budget processTrain and develop senior, staff and project accountants

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5 – 10 years experience preferably in both public accounting and real estate/property management accounting MBA and/or CPA preferredSupervisory experience a plus

 

Salary:  Up to $100,000 + Bonus
