About the Position:
Anderson ZurMuehlen is actively seeking a reliable individual who is interested in a permanent full-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant position in our downtown Seattle office. The candidate must be friendly and should possess strong computer skills including MS Office software, QuickBooks/Quicken knowledge is a plus. Duties include tax return assembly, database maintenance, organizing office events, and other general administrative duties. The scope of your job responsibilities depends on your abilities.

Duties include:
*Field phone calls and coordinate Outlook calendars
*Manage conference room schedules and tidiness of rooms for client use
*Daily deposit – open and total the daily checks before 11:30 am and make trip to bank
*Filing of all Redwells, files, loose documents
*Validate building parking – track staff-use days
*Process/pick-up mail
*Anniversary recognition for staff
*New client set-up requiring ProSystems, PPM, Access and files
*Tax return assembly
*Client set-ups including ProFx scan
*E-file returns and extensions (backup)
*Staff meeting coordinator/order breakfast platter
*Client research - on accounts/files/PDF’s
*Projects – from accountants/OM in excel/word
*Financial statements - typing and binding(backup)
*Files at year end – Purge old files via retention policy; log in Access deleted client files and prepare for File Box storage (backup)
*Log staff birthdays on calendar, order birthday cake, circulate card, and coordinate celebration
*Tax season – mid-February through April work every other Saturday; pre-plan and pre-order lunch for staff
*Organizers – assist with stuffing, mailing, and stapling
*Thanksgiving cards – assist with address/return labels
*Restock copy/fax/printer machines
*Supplies – backup for ordering, checking inventory and restocking shelves with new items
*Monthly billing (backup)
*Secret Santa plans and scheduling
*Party planning for March 15, April 15 and Christmas
*New employee gift bags
*Accounts payable back-up for Seattle office
*Reservations for those traveling to Seattle from other offices
*Local checking account and petty cash reconciliation
*Night closing duties

Compensation:
Our compensation package is designed to reward you for the value you bring to us. All benefits available upon hire as a regular, full-time or proportionate to 50% of full-time employee. We offer:
