RETAIL ACCOUNTANT

Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review franchise financial statements
- Analyze financial statements and provide interpretations and recommendations concerning operating results to Management and Franchisees
- Review weekly sales, gross profits, shrink and expenses
- Ensure integrity, completeness and consistency of financial reporting through timely and accurate allocation of expenses to proper accounts
- Serve as a Customer Service contact for franchisees and operations personnel with respect to franchise financial reporting
- Required to conduct store visits
- Other projects and analysis as required

Qualifications:

- Must posses strong analytical skills and be able to interpret and prepare financial statements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 1-2 years experience in an accounting environment
- Post secondary education in Business or Accounting
- Enrollment in 4th level CMA or CGA program
- Advanced computer/technical skills, especially Excel and Word
- Must have valid driver's license, some traveling is required
