Quickbooks Accounting Consultant

National QuickBooks and technology consulting firm seeking candidates for their Florida office. This is a full time position providing QuickBooks and other consulting services to our clients. We are a fast growing company with expertise in accounting, finance and IT systems.

Job responsibilities include:
* Training and consulting with clients on QuickBooks and accounting processes.
* Implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of clients’ QuickBooks company files.
* Documenting project tasks and status of work.
* Adhering to budgets and project deadlines.
* Take care of administrative tasks as necessary on a timely basis.

The ideal candidate with have the following qualifications:
* A STRONG working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software - ALL modules - including various years and industry versions.
* Experience with Peachtree, Great Plains and other software knowledge a plus.
* Experience in preparing payroll and sales tax returns.
* Seasoned accounting knowledge.
* Understanding of business processes and internal controls.
* Analytical & detail-oriented.
* Project Management skills to supervise staff and run implementations.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Flexible in taking on a variety of projects & able to work on own in a fast-paced environment that is always changing.
* Ability to interact with and train multiple clients.
* Able to multitask projects at different stages.
* Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills.
* Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and have the ability to learn new things.

Preferred background:

* Education: BBA in Accounting or Finance
* Certifications: Certified QB ProAdvisor
* Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as a Staff Accountant, Public Accounting Experience, Tax Processing Experience, Internal Auditing or Audit Experience, Consultant, Supervised people in past
