Property Accountant - Seattle, Washington
Description:- Ensure cash receipts and payables are entered and processed in a timely manner- Prepare all aspects of the financial statement package, including creating and posting journal entries, general ledger review and completion of backup schedules- Monitor and maintain cash balances as required by client- Review variances in financial statements and document explanations for significant items- Prepare management fee calculations and ensure related invoices are paid- Verify bank reconciliation is complete and ensure all reconciling items are resolved- Prepare Corporate A/R and BTE/NA A/R reconciliation and point allocations- Participate in the annual operating expense process- Assist in the transition of properties- Handle special projects as assigned by managementQualifications:- Bachelors degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of related accounting experience and/or training; ideal candidate has Property Accounting experience- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles- Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents- Conduct basic financial analysis- Must be able to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions- Ability to make effective presentations to internal groups - Excellent organizational and customer service skills- Strong analytical and quantitative skills- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure - Proficiency with MS Office and Real Estate accounting software; MRI, Yardi or CTI experience preferred.*Please include salary requirement when applying online.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Seattle, WAJob Number: 3727Company Profile:About CB Richard EllisCB Richard Ellis Group, Inc.
