Project Manater with Broker Dealer Financial Accounting & Reporting experience

Our client, a major Investment Bank located in midtown NYC, needs a Project Manager for a Global Posting Rules Project & Global COA & Hierarchies Project





Key Responsibilities:

 

The position involves supporting a senior Project Manager in following tasks as part of a Financial Reporting Workstream:

 

· Prepare and maintain project plans and status reports

· Document Current State /Analysis & Recommendations /Issues in implementing Standardization /Resolution /End State around posting rules and COA

· Document the project’s involvement with new strategic postings in building and implementing rules and COA

· Prepare testing plans for end users for each Spectral (Posting Engine) release

· Establish guidelines and training materials

· Document meeting minutes and follow up with takeaways

 



Experience and Skills Required/Desired:

 

· 5+ years Project Management experience

· Expert in documentation

· Strong Power Point documentation skills

· 3+ years Banking/Broker Dealer Financial Accounting & Reporting experience

· Broad understanding of ledger posting and reporting processes

· Broad cross-product knowledge

· Strong Communication Skills

· Strong in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
