Project Business Analyst Needed

National financial services provider with corporate presence in Richmond, VA is seeking to augment their staff with a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst!!! This is a very team focused, work hard/play hard environment. Nine to twelve month contract position with potential for permanency. Full training program provided. The position is unique mix of business risk management and data analysis. Qualified applicants encouraged to apply!Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Management or other applicable degree program.Master's Degree preferred.Job Description:Organizes, directs and performs complex analysis and financial reconciliations, exercising independent judgment and initiative to identify the best course for problem resolution.Collaborate with various levels of staff, including senior management, on analytical initiatives involving large volumes of data.Strong analytical and project management skills, the ability to work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision are essential competencies of this position.Advanced Excel Skills are a must-graphing and pivot table knowledge crucial.Basic Access skills vital.Strong communication skills, both written and oral, a high degree of creativity and the ability to think independently in a non-traditional manner are required.
