The Cost & Pricing Analyst will work with a team on the development and communication of the cost and pricing solution and associated verbal or written deliverables (e.g., agency presentations, orals, and proposal response "Cost Volume). Position-specific Requirements/Job Knowledge: - Minimum of 2 Years related experience - Pricing, Program Control, Financial Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Cost Accounting, etc. - Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project)- Good communication skills both verbal and written. - Possesses a firm understanding of business principles with a background in accounting or finance being highly desirable for the position of Pricing Analyst.- Ability to quickly learn the features of the proposal life cycle as well as contract types including fixed-price (FFP, FFP-PBC, FPAF, FPIF), cost (CPFF, CPAF, CPIF), T&M/FPLH, GSA Schedule, BPA, and commercial).Additional responsibilities:- Providing direct support to Pricing and Capture Managers- Compliancy with customer requirements FARS, DFARS, and FIRMIRs).- Coordination with PS Contracts. - Executing Pricing and Subcontracting strategies within proposals - Coordination with Competitive Analysis Manager. - Will develop successful cost exhibit terms/conditions to achieve proposal cost realism. - Will also develop competitive pricing strategies that are realistic and defendable- Perform Cost Model Audits for Accuracy and compliance to both Internal and Customer related requirements - Prepare Ad-hoc analyses and data collection on labor, travel and material related cost elements- Participate in Proposal Planning / Scheduling SessionsPosition-Specific Required Skills:- Must be able to support and execute pricing strategies developed in response to RFPs,- Ability to utilize and adapt existing MS Excel based pricing tools to specific proposal situations- Ability to Generate Basic Excel spreadsheets - Participate in Subcontractor pricing analysis - Apply complex cost life cycle tools to achieve cost reasonableness and realism within proposals generatedEducational Requirements: - College Degree - BA/BS- Preferably in Major of Finance or Accounting- Graduate Degree a Plus Logistics: - No travel requirementBusiness Segment: Business OperationsBearingPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability or any other basis covered by law.
